We do not take back equipment whose sealing label has been fractured, except in the case of a proven defect in the RestoreX™.
You will easily understand that equipment that has already been used, even for a few hours, cannot be offered for sale again.
The warranty period is one year from receipt of equipment.
It does not cover breakage or malfunction in the event of proven misuse of the equipment.
The RestoreX™ is not reimbursed by the French Assurance Maladie, as it is not on the LPP list.
However, we can provide you with a pro-forma invoice that you can present to your complementary health insurance company for possible reimbursement.
Flaccid: the RestoreX™ should be used when the penis is at rest while curvature measurement is performed with an erect penis.
There's no problem using RestoreX™ during the acute phase, and it's probably at this time
that its action is most effective. You can consult the clinical study validating this use by clicking here
Yes, the RestoreX is effective for hourglass yards. In this case, only axial traction will be used.
The short duration of daily treatment as well as the low permanence of use over time is due
to several factors:
- Unlike other traction-therapy devices using simple axial traction, the RestoreX™ counteracts angulation of the penis by tilting the head of the device.
- The RestoreX™ generates more traction force than any other device; most traction therapy devices only offer between 0.5 and 1 Kg of traction force. The RestoreX™ is capable of producing a pain-free force of between 2.5 and 3 Kg in straightness and between 4.5 and 5 Kg in counter-curvature.
Here are our recommendations for solving this problem:
- Make sure the clamp is closed tightly enough to hold the end of the penis.
Tightening the clamp should not cause pain, as it is normal to feel pressure on the glans. - It is necessary to wrap the glans with the self-adhesive bandage supplied with the device.
This helps make the pressure more bearable and prevents the penis from slipping. - It is also necessary to apply the cotton pad to the duckbill backing.
- You can also wrap the upper part of the clamp with this same self-adhesive bandage.
- The "Avoiding slipping" video on our site details these various precautions to be carried out for a good fit of the RestoreX™.
- There is also a short "running-in" period (1 to 2 weeks) during which the physiology adapts to the pressure exerted.
This normalizes over time as the skin gradually regenerates; it's the same phenomenon when, after several gardening sessions, you notice calluses on your hands. - Because of the pressure, it's normal for the glans to become a little blue and cold when the clamp is closed.
This is not detrimental to the vascularization of the penis. - No significant adverse events, even transient ones, including a change in color or sensation of the glans were reported in the clinical study including 110 patients.
A fortiori, there was no injury or pain of the penis leading to the reporting of an adverse event. - When this procedure is carried out properly, we find that 100% of our customers who have raised this docking problem are able to use the RestoreX™ correctly.
Degrees are used to measure the reduction in curvature geometrically, while the percentage indicates the improvement compared to the original situation.
For example, if a person has a curvature of 100° that improves by 60°, he will see an improvement of 40° and also 40%. But if another person reduces the curvature from 40° to 20°, he or she will have a 20° improvement but a 50% improvement over the original curvature.
We report both values because it makes it easier to understand the true extent of the improvement.
According to the reference clinical study with control group, the reduction in curvature at 3 months is 17.2°, i.e. 28% improvement, which represents a considerable change.
According to the clinical studies, no difference in results was observed between the different curvature directions, with dorsal (ascending) curvatures being the most frequently evaluated.
In the clinical study conducted at the Mayo Clinic, the group of men whose curvature was located 7 cm or more from the tip of the penis (i.e. near the base of the penis) saw an average 18° improvement in curvature.
It should be noted that this improvement was no different from that seen
on the group of men with curvatures in the middle or at the tip of the penis.
This statistical data suggests that RestoreX™ can be used effectively regardless of the location of the curvature.
Yes, the RestoreX™ can be used by uncircumcised men.
To use it, retract the foreskin and use the self-adhesive bandage provided to hold the decalcitated glans on the duckbill holder.
Many physicians believe that a traction-therapy device such as RestoreX™ is likely to treat congenital malformations.
However, the manufacturer, PathRight Medical, cannot recommend the use of RestoreX™ as no prospective clinical studies have been conducted with such a patient group.
Clinical evaluations of the RestoreX™ have shown that curvature correction is virtually permanent.
If you notice the return of symptoms, we recommend that you use the RestoreX™ again twice a week for 30 to 60 minutes per session and consult a Urologist.
RestoreX™ can be used with other treatments, but its efficacy has been shown without association with other therapies.
Several studies have been published with a combination of traction therapy with other medications (Xiaflex, intra-lesional injections of Verapamil/Interferon) or surgery.
No, there is no benefit to using the device for more than an hour a day.
This was confirmed in a clinical trial conducted at the Mayo Clinic.
There is no limit to the curvature of the penis.
We recorded patients whose penis had an angulation of more than 150 degrees.
In cases where the length of the penis is not sufficient to counter-curve, we recommend using the device only in the straight position.
Over time and as the penis lengthens, you may be able to start angulating the device to obtain a counter-curvature.
You must ensure that you pull the skin sufficiently through the pelvic ring to ensure that it is not stretched when the RestoreX™ is tensioned.
It is necessary to lengthen it sufficiently before triggering the counter-curvature mechanism.
Yes, it's perfectly possible to counterbend as close as possible to the base of the penis.
In such a case, we recommend counter-curving in position 1 or 2 only and placing a roll of gauze between the penis and the device to create a sufficiently long arc, the aim being to feel the penis stretch at the curvature.
In fact, there are many studies relating to RestoreX™, several of which are ongoing.
There are also others as part of combination therapies.
Most of these can be found on the American Urological Association website
RestoreX™ is effective in lengthening the penis in cases of shrinkage following radical prostatectomy and evidence of its action can be seen in the 2 specific clinical studies on our website
No, the RestoreX™ is the only traction-therapy medical device whose efficacy, without any other associated therapy, has been proven by randomized prospective clinical studies, which you can find on this page.
Nevertheless, it is also used before or after surgery on the penis and, in this case, we find that the results are better, particularly with regard to length recovery as well as improved erectile function.
Technically, it's 7 cm, although it's a bit tricky to attach the penis in these cases.
With really small penises, we recommend taking the clamp out of the case and tilting it upwards.
In this way, you'll be able to fix the glans into the clamp and then put it back onto the case.
RestoreX™ is primarily geared towards correction of penile curvature (Lapeyronie's disease), while RestoreXL™ does not include the counter-curvature function and is specifically designed for restoration and gain of penile length.
RestoreXL is a more affordable alternative for men who do not have Peyronie's disease but who are focusing on penile lengthening or the management of erectile dysfunction after prostatectomy or in a urological rehabilitation setting. It is designed to fit a wider range of penis sizes, making it a suitable option for a wider range of users seeking length and rehabilitation support.
RestoreXL™ is a non-invasive alternative to surgery, with no anesthesia or operative risks, and progressive, natural results.
When used as directed, RestoreXL has proven extremely safe in clinical studies with no reports of serious injuries such as nerve damage or erectile dysfunction. However, inappropriate or excessive use may result in risks such as:
- Tissue damage
- Severe pain
- Numbness or tingling (which could indicate nerve problems)
- Discoloration or signs of injury
Always follow instructions precisely and do not exceed recommended treatment times (eg, 30 minutes per session). Discontinue use immediately and consult your physician if you experience discomfort, pain or significant side effects. RestoreXL is intended for adults aged 18 and over .
No, you can order online. RestoreXL is an over-the-counter device intended for home use.
For RestoreXL lengthening, it is likely that 1 to 2 30-minute treatments per week will be required to maintain results.
The RestoreX clinical trial indicated that correction of curvature is likely to be permanent, but if you experience a recurrence of symptoms, using RestoreX for 30 minutes 1 to 2 times per week will help maintain results.
